(Hollywood, CA)  July 15, 2007 – Harding Steel announced today that it became the first parking lift manufacturer to successfully obtain approval and product acceptance from the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, Mechanical Testing Laboratory for the installation of above ground parking lifts within the City limits of Los Angeles. The first-ever installation of Harding Steel’s SUV Model above ground parking systems under the City’s new testing process for mechanical lifts was completed in June of 2007 at the intersection of Hollywood and Vine in the heart of LA’s famous “Walk of Fame”. Acceptance of the product came after months of laboratory evaluation and a final field safety test conducted jointly by the City and an independent testing firm. The formal release of a City of Los Angeles Research Report is pending.

The CARPARX© systems feature high-capacity scissors lift technology and has been specifically designed and built for the needs of American consumers, the homes they build, and the cars they drive.

(Santa Ana, California), June 1, 2007 – Harding Steel has delivered and installed its newest model above ground parking lift systems, the SUV XL to Vertical Parking Solutions of Anaheim, California. The new lift, made of 100% galvanized steel components, is both 6” wider and 6” longer than Harding Steel’s popular standard SUV model lift. The lifts were delivered to Vertical Parking Solutions, a division of Advanced Management Services of Anaheim, CA. The machines will be used to provide parking for residents at the Villa del Sol apartment complex in Santa Ana, a property that is owned and managed by Advanced Management Company. The lifts were specifically designed to provide a longer and wider vehicle platform that accommodates a greater variety of vehicles while making parking easier and safer for residents.

(Scottsdale, AZ), October 31, 2007 – Harding Steel has been cordially invited by the Barrett Jackson auction companies as a premier vendor for the 2008 auction show series. Harding Steel will be installing Tri-Lifts for the new Barrett Jackson corporate show room in Scottsdale, AZ in the later part of 2007.  For the Barrett Jackson show Harding Steel will be featuring a working display of our CARPARX© ST-2 subterranean car lift system.  The show dates are January 12 - 20 in Scottsdale, AZ and in October for Las Vegas (exact dates to be determined).  We would like to invite anyone who will be attending the show to stop by and visit the Harding Steel display at both shows.

Barrett Jackson

(Oakland, CA August 2008) – Harding Steel has Recently completed the first CARMATRIX installation in the US in August.  Madison Park Financial purchased a 20 space CARMATRIX system for their most recently completed project in Oakland, CA.  The Packard Lofts are loft-style apartment homes inside of the renovated Packard Dealership along the infamous Auto Row in Oakland.  The system provides 20 individually accessible spaces for the residents.  The residents operate the semi-automatic parking system without the need of a valet.
